Remarks Occurs inshore (Ref. 75154). In the juvenile stage, it stays close to the reef & schools with other juvenile species of caesionids, commonly with C. cuning. Adult typically feeds further off the reef than other fusiliers; returning to the reef only at night to shelter (Ref. 402).
