Remarks Found inshore (Ref. 75154). Inhabits shallow reef crests, usually exposed to moderate surge (Ref. 48635). Common among the branches of pocilloporid corals (e.g. Pocillopora eydouxi, Stylophora mordax) and some species of Acropora.
