 Family:  Akysidae (Stream catfishes), subfamily: Parakysinae
 Max. size:  10.13 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Asia: Mae Khlong River drainage in Thailand and Pahang River drainage in Peninsular Malaysia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5-5; Anal soft rays: 8-10; Vertebrae: 40-40. Almost uniformly cream color pattern with few very small brown spots. Dorsal to adipose distance (4.4-5.7% SL). Branchiostegal rays 4 (Ref. 37794).
 Biology:  Inhabits hill streams (Ref. 58784). Feeds on crustaceans and benthic organisms (Ref. 58784).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
