 Max. size:  11.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  South America: Rio Amazonas basin, in the lower Rio Tapajós drainage near Jacareacanga and São Luis, Pará, Brazil.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Inhabit clear-water streams with muddy, sandy or rocky bottoms (Ref. 26647).
