 Family:  Callionymidae (Dragonets)
 Max. size:  18 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 135 - 330 m
 Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, and Persian Gulf to the coasts of India.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 9-9
 Biology:  Found on sand or mud bottoms. Feeds on small benthic invertebrates.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
