 Family:  Paralichthyidae (Large-tooth flounders)
 Max. size:  14.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 73 - 146 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Mexico. Probably taken from Panama and Colombia, but needs confirmation.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 73-79; Anal soft rays: 57-62; Vertebrae: 33-33
 Biology:  Lives on sandy bottoms. Possibly exploited occasionally by trawlers in Panama and Colombia.
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
