 Family:  Paralichthyidae (Large-tooth flounders)
 Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 35 - 201 m
 Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Canada (Ref. 5951) to Bahamas and Florida Keys in USA to Guyana and Nicaragua.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs at depths of 35-200 m, but most common in shallower half of depth range.
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
