 Family:  Schilbeidae (Schilbid catfishes)
 Max. size:  31 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal, potamodromous
 Distribution:  Asia: main stem of the Mekong as far upstream as Yunnan Province, China. Also found in the Pahang River, Malaysia.
 Diagnosis:  Anal soft rays: 44-50. 8 barbels;
 Biology:  Oviparous, eggs are unguarded (Ref. 205). Sold fresh (Ref. 12693).
