 Max. size:  38 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Europe: Lakes of western central Baltic basin, Sweden, southern Norway, Denmark, lower Odra drainage in Poland. Introduced in some lakes in Poland (Ref. 59043). As a result of transplantation, this species became widespread in the lakes of former East Prussia (Ref. 593).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Lacustrine, pelagic. Feeds on zooplankton (Ref. 59043).
