 Max. size:  30 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathypelagic; depth range - 457 m
 Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: known only from the holotype caught in the Galapagos Islands.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Known only from the holotype caught at a depth of 457 m.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
