 Distribution:  South America: Amazon River basin, in the Ucayali, Huallaga, Putumayo, Napo and Amazon River basins.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Inhabits small forest streams. Feeds on plant debris, insect debris and larvae and fish larvae.
