 Family:  Narcinidae (Numbfishes)
 Max. size:  13.7 cm TL (female)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range - 91 m
 Distribution:  Western Atlantic: off Guiana and Venezuela; including Brazil.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal surface light brown, series of darker brown blotches and white and brown spots. Irregular rounded dark brown blotches on the outer margins of the pectoral and pelvic fins. Dorsal and caudal light brown. Caudal fins crossed by two brown bands, near the base and tip. Ventral surface white (Ref. 6902).
 Biology:
