 Family:  Amphiliidae (Loach catfishes), subfamily: Leptoglanidinae
 Max. size:  4.22 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Africa: Wagenia rapids on Lualaba River near Kisangani (upper Congo River basin), Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 78218, 106245).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5-5; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 7-7; Vertebrae: 40-40. Number of caudal fin rays: 10/6+7/12 (Ref. 51287). Caudal peduncle elongate, with only 12 vertebrae (Ref. 51287). Number of ribs: 6: first pair of ribs on vertebra 5 and smaller than ribs on vertebra 6 (Ref. 51287). Body with four or five elongate oval spots centered on midline; spot nearest middle of body considerably enlarged on both sides of the body (Ref. 51287).
