 Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic; pH range: 7 - 7.80000019073486; dH range: 3 - 5, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Africa: southeastern Guinea and northern Liberia, upper Niger River basin.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs in brooks (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
 IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (B1ab(ii,iii)+2ab(ii,iii); D2) (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
