 Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
 Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Africa: upper Dja (middle Congo River basin), Ntem, Ivindo and some northern tributaries of the middle OgoouĂ© River, in Gabon, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon (Ref. 47774).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Inhabits creeks and other small bodies of water under rainforest cover (Ref. 47774). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
