 Family:  Gymnuridae (Butterfly rays)
 Max. size:  31 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Gulf of California and Panama.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  In coastal waters, estuaries and lagoons, but occasionally also in greater depths. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 50449).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
