 Max. size:  42.8 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range - 36 m
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Fiji. Leptocephali collected from New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Nicobar Islands, and Sri Lanka may be those of Heteroconger tomberua.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
