 Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Malaysia, Indonesia around the coasts of Sumatra and Java, including Singapore.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25-28; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Greenish or bluish grey above, silvery below; fins yellowish (Ref. 9772).
 Biology:  Inhabits shallow coastal waters (Ref. 9772).
