 Family:  Gobiesocidae (Clingfishes and singleslits), subfamily: Gobiesocinae
 Max. size:  3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 4 - 20 m
 Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Seychelles south to Natal, South Africa and east to New Guinea, north to Palau, south to Lord Howe Island.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-9. Caudal fin rays 12 - 14.
 Biology:  Occurs in groups, among the bases of the arms of some comasteroid crinoids (e.g. Himerometra robustipinna), or feather stars, and in surge channels (Ref. 1602).
