 Max. size:  6.45 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  South America: Maroni and Approuague River basins in French Guiana.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Very common in the principal rivers where it constitutes one of the dominant species. May also occur in creeks (Ref. 27188).
