 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 1 - 119 m, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: restricted to the Hawaiian Islands.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Benthopelagic (Ref. 58302). Nocturnal, under ledges or in caves by day (Ref. 9710).
