 Family:  Apogonidae (Cardinalfishes), subfamily: Apogoninae
 Max. size:  15 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated,
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Singapore.
 Diagnosis:  Peduncular spot large in young, but fades proportionally reduces in size with age, and often absent in adults (Ref. 48635).
 Biology:  Found in coastal reef slopes (Ref. 48635).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
