 Max. size:  14.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Taiwan.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 100-107; Anal soft rays: 78-84; Vertebrae: 28-29. With a small number of scales in lateral line (61-62); obtuse knob on both snout tip and mandibular symphysis in males; biserial teeth on upper jaw.
 Biology:
