 Max. size:  6.91 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  South America: Brazil.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal soft rays: 5-5. Anal fin with 4 branched rays; dorsal surface of body and head dark brown, without black dots; caudal peduncle deep 11.1-14.0% SL in adults; and 74-98 teeth in each dentary (Ref. 42856).
