 Family:  Serranidae (Sea basses: groupers and fairy basslets), subfamily: Anthiinae
 Max. size:  14 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 60 - 100 m
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: southern Japan (Ref. 559) and Taiwan (Ref. 12711).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found over rocky reefs (Ref. 559) in over 30 m depth (Ref. 9137).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
