 Environment:  demersal; depth range 0 - 475 m
 Distribution:  Southern Ocean: known from the islands of the Scotia Sea and the northern part of the Antarctic Peninsula to Scott Island.
 Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 54-55
 Biology:  Adults feed mainly on krill and fish. Synchronous spawner (Ref. 50743).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
