 Max. size:  14 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 5 - 50 m
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan, New Zealand, and from Abrolhos to Dampier Archipelago in Australia.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in weed beds.
