 Family:  Cyprinidae (Minnows or carps), subfamily: Danioninae
 Max. size:  5.7 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  Asia: Katingan and Kahayan river basins of central Kalimantan, Borneo, Indonesia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal soft rays: 7-7
 Biology:  Found in shallow, slow-flowing swampy areas next to the flowing blackwater streams. Occurs in lowland peat swamps and degraded heath forest with a substrate made of a mixture of peat and silica sand (Ref. 82329).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
