 Max. size:  6.02 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  Asia: southern Taiwan (Ref. 12953) and China (Ref. 31517).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 7-8. Head large in male and depressed. Lips fleshy, upper jaw prominent.
 Biology:
