 Max. size:  19 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  pelagic, potamodromous
 Distribution:  South America: Amazon River basin, Uatumã River in Brazil.
 Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 35-38. distal black stripe on caudal fin; 4 supraneurals before dorsal pterygiophores; height of abdominal serrae 4.4-5.8% of SL, interorbitary distance 8.8-10.1% of SL; body depth 47.4-57.4% of SL; color of lateral body dark; humeral blotch well marked.
