 Max. size:  50 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 1 - 50 m
 Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf and coasts of India.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Adults occur in shallow coastal waters to moderate depths. Carnivorous. Sold fresh in markets.
