 Max. size:  15.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 1 - 100 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Mexico to Ecuador.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 99-107; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 83-90; Vertebrae: 53-56
 Biology:  Found on sandy and muddy areas, including estuaries (Ref. 9294).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
