 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 239 - 810 m
 Distribution:  Western Atlantic: New York to Florida in USA.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 105-113; Anal soft rays: 91-98; Vertebrae: 57-60
 Biology:  A species rarely collected; captured on soft mud substrates. Little is known about its biology (Ref. 26268).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
