 Family:  Amphiliidae (Loach catfishes), subfamily: Leptoglanidinae
 Max. size:  3.93 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Africa: known only from the Lulua (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin) in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 11970, 51287, 78218). Specimen reported from Lufume (Luele tributary, Kasai drainage) in Angola (Ref. 11970) not conspecific (Ref. 51287, 78218).
 Diagnosis:  Number of caudal fin rays: 15/7+8/15 (Ref. 51287). Humeral process long and denticulate (Ref. 51287).
 Biology: 
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
