 Family:  Pleuronectidae (Righteye flounders), subfamily: Pleuronectinae
 Max. size:  45 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 10 - 600 m, oceanodromous
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Sea of Japan and Sea of Okhotsk, Kamchatka and Korea (Ref. 4537).
 Diagnosis:

 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Known from the northern Yellow Sea (mostly seen in winter) (Ref. 33837).
