 Family:  Atherinidae (Silversides), subfamily: Atherinomorinae
 Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: Culion and Busuanga Islands, Philippines.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 10-12. No teeth on palatines. Origin of dorsal fin at or up to 2 scales in front of vertical through ventral tips. Midlateral band silvery with a line of small dark dots above and minute black dots on row of scales below. Description: Characterized by having 14-18 predorsal scales; body depth about 5.0 in SL; large eye, 2.2-2.4 in head length; upper jaw extending just beyond vertical at front edge of eye; jaws and vomer with minute teeth, none in palatines (Ref. 90102).
 Biology:  Biology is unknown. Probably preyed upon by commercial fish species as food.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
