Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 5-5. Preserved color brownish dorsally, yellowish on sides and belly, silvery luster all over; lips and snout tip edged with black; fin rays dusky; scales above lateral line outlined by a band of minute black spots. Longitudinally radiating lines on scales. 9 scales between nape and dorsal; 2-2.5 scales between ventral origin and lateral line. Snout pointed. |
