 Environment:  demersal; depth range - 40 m
 Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Persian Gulf to China, Indonesia, Borneo, New Guinea, Philippines and the southern part of southeast Asia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 9-9
 Biology:  Found on sand bottoms.
