 Environment:  demersal; depth range 0 - 3 m
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Philippines (Ref. 30501). Reported from Taiwan (Ref. 43538).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Inhabits shallow sand bottoms to 3 m deep (Ref. 90102).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Museum: Jolo, USNM 99406 (holotype). Also Ref. 90102, 75992.
