Adults occur in small to large aggregations on the outer edge of certain reefs in rich coralliferous areas in 5 to 25 meters. Juveniles and occasionally adults sometimes occur in lagoons (Ref. 7247). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205). |
