 Family:  Labridae (Wrasses), subfamily: Corinae
 Max. size:  12 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 7 - 60 m
 Distribution:  Indian Ocean: including the Andaman Sea (Ref. 9710).
 Diagnosis:  Easily identified by the mostly bright yellow body with white below (Ref. 48636).
 Biology:  Found along the reef edge, in sand and rubble areas (Ref. 9710, 48636) usually in small groups (Ref. 90102).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Outside distributional range. Reported from Tubbataha Reefs (Ref. 53416, 57038).
