 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 197 - 216 m
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Philippines.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 112-112; Anal spines: 0-1; Anal soft rays: 93-93. Maximum total length 16 cm. Body depth 3.2 times in SL (Ref 42535).
 Biology:  Known from one depth of 197 m. Feeds on benthic animals.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Museum: East of Masbate, in 108 fathoms (197 m), 'Albatross' collection, Stn. D. 5212, USNM 93084 (holotype, 16.5 cm). Also Ref. 280, 9824.
