 Max. size:  26.1 cm FL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Queensland, Australia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 10-11. Bluish dorsally, silvery on flanks and abdomen (Ref. 9812). Dark spot at origin of pectoral fin (Ref. 9812).
 Biology:  Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
