 Family:  Synanceiidae (Stonefishes), subfamily: Minoinae
 Max. size:  11 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 56 - 144 m
 Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Papua New Guinea (Ref. 6192), the Arafura Sea (Ref. 9819) and Indonesia (Ref. 5978).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in sheltered muddy estuaries to deep offshore in mud-sand habitats. Buries itself during the day in the substrate and is rarely observed, except when found by accident or at night (Ref. 48635).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
