 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: southern Japan and the Philippines.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in rocky reefs in shallow waters; not forming large schools (Ref. 43239). Active at night and spends the day in caves (Ref. 9137).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
