 Family:  Moridae (Morid cods)
 Max. size:  7.61 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathypelagic; depth range 115 - 320 m
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: Indonesia, northern Australia and New Caledonia (Ref. 31777); including the Philippines (Ref. 95664).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 65-65; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 63-63; Vertebrae: 51-51. Coloration: Head and body pale pinkish tan, abdomen bluish. Branchiostegal membranes, snout, orbit rim and remaining scale pockets brown. Vertical fins dusky near tips, axil of pectoral fin dark brown. Light organ and anus black.
 Biology:  A benthic species found on the continental slope (Ref. 75154).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Known from the Sulu Sea. Collected during the Hearst Expedition 2011 done off Batangas and Mindoro, off SW Luzon, otter trawl, 115-144 m (Ref. 95664).
