 Max. size:  26 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: known only from Mindanao, Philippines.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 9-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 11-11; Vertebrae: 24-24. Grayish-black and oblong body. Pectoral fin with 13 unbranched rays, 6 pectoral filaments with upper 2 filaments extending beyond midpoint of caudal peduncle. Maxilla covered with scales (Ref. 41110).
