Juvenile dorsal fin posterior ocellus black with blue edge, caudal peduncle saddle ocellated. Body depth 2.0-2.1 in SL (Ref. 90102). |
Probably widespread in silty coastal regions (Ref. 48636). Observed to occur solitarily or in small groups that remain close to shelter (Ref. 11891). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205). |
