 Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
 Max. size:  6.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 5 - 60 m
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: Philippines and Indonesia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25-26; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 14-15. Description: Characterized by pinkish orange head grading to purplish grey over most of body; belly and breast region pinkish; black caudal fin orange-edged; anterior lateral line scales 22-29; predorsal scales 13-20; depth of body 21.9-25.3 % of SL (Ref. 90102).
 Biology:  Found in coastal and seaward reefs in 5-60 m, solitary in caves or around rock outcrops (Ref 90102).
