 Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudoplesiopinae
 Max. size:  3.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 5 - 113 m
 Distribution:  Western Pacific.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25-27; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 16-17. Description: Characterized by generally brown color, including median fins, iris pink or red; pinkish hue on head; single lateral-line scale; greatest depth of body 4.2-4.7 in SL (Ref. 90102).
 Biology:  Inhabits inshore reefs (Ref. 7300). Also found among rubble and in crevices, solitary or in loose groups (Ref 90102).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Several specimens were collected using rotenone at 4 - 25 meters depth (Ref. 48613). Also Ref. 90102.
